As another winter storm enveloped the Adirondack region (and much of the Northeast overall) yesterday, it would’ve been easy to call the groundhog names and get annoyed at having to get up extra early to plow out snow. But this morning, with the first light of day, and the stillness that snowstorms can bring, it was really rather beautiful. And with the right clothes and layering, it wasn’t particularly cold.
Life is so much more enjoyable when you take a moment to enjoy the little positives and push out the easy frustrations.
After all, you’re not going to beat winter if you live in the Adirondac region. Enjoy what you can, or be miserable - the snow is going to pile up either way!
